2.釐清過去對先秦諸子思想之錯誤認知，並重新建立起正確的思想體系。
3.使學生了解先秦諸子思想在中華思想與其文化發展上的影響性，並藉此增進個人之思考能力。
4.使學生重新認識「生命」之價值及其意義。
5.使學生重新建立「中華文化之思維體系」。
6.使學生在修習本課程之後，能啟發其整體思維及其創造力。先秦諸子各家立論為中國思想之發端，此時期之相關文獻與史料更為後世思想推演與發展之重要樞機；其承繼並轉化殷商、兩周文明之舊傳統，而下開中國兩千多餘年之思想發展，實為重要、寶貴；若能於大學等相關高等教育中深入研習，則能增進學生之個人修為、思考能力、語言閱讀及寫作能力，以及生活種種之相關創發能力。本課程為全學年之設計，故上學期以儒家思想及墨家思想為探討對象；下學期則以道家思想及法家思想為探討對象。

1. To enable students to have a basic understanding of the thoughts of hundreds of schools of thought in the pre-Qin period.
2. Clarify the past misunderstanding of the thoughts of the pre-Qin scholars and re-establish a correct ideological system.
3. To enable students to understand the influence of the thoughts of pre-Qin philosophers on the development of Chinese thought and culture, and thereby enhance personal thinking ability.
4. Enable students to re-understand the value and meaning of "life".
5. Enable students to re-establish the "thinking system of Chinese culture".
6. Enable students to inspire their overall thinking and creativity after taking this course. Various schools of thought in the Pre-Qin Dynasty regarded it as the beginning of Chinese thought, and the relevant documents and historical materials of this period are more important for the deduction and development of later generations' thoughts. They inherited and transformed the old traditions of the Yin Shang and the Two-week Civilization, and opened up the ideological development of China for more than 2,000 years. This course is designed for the whole academic year, so the first semester will focus on Confucianism and Mohist thought; the second semester will focus on Taoist thought and Legalist thought.
