這門課將簡介什麼是社會學、社會學如何來的,以及其精神與當中的基礎概念,並介紹當代社會的特性為何。同時,這門課將從階級、勞動、消費、性別、族群與國族、資訊、科技、情感等面向來理解我們的社會。課堂的設計除了介紹理論概念並要求學生學習之外,同時鼓勵學生進一步觀察與分析日常文化的各個面向,結合理論。This course will introduce what sociology is, how it came about, its spirit and basic concepts, and the characteristics of contemporary society. At the same time, this course will understand our society from the aspects of class, labor, consumption, gender, ethnic groups and nations, information, technology, emotions, etc. The classroom design not only introduces theoretical concepts and requires students to learn, but also encourages students to further observe and analyze various aspects of daily culture and integrate theory.
