理論一直以來都是一個起點，站在這裡可以邁向經驗現象，也可以持續比較各理論家的觀點。我們閱讀社會理論學者的觀點，閱讀他們怎麼描述他們看到的世界，並試著用他們的觀點來看看我們面對的處境，比較我們的世界與他們的世界，有何異同？學期中遇到一位同學建議閱讀書目為Foucault的著作《規訓與懲罰》，如果其他同學也有想要閱讀的讀本，並在課堂中與所有課程參與者討論，歡迎主動寫email給我。
課程大綱在暑假中會持續更新。Theory has always been a starting point from which to move toward empirical phenomena and to continually compare the views of various theorists. We read the views of social theorists, read how they describe the world they see, and try to use their views to see the situation we face. Compare our world with theirs. What are the similarities and differences? During the semester, I met a classmate who suggested reading Foucault's book "Discipline and Punishment". If other students also have books they would like to read and discuss with all course participants in class, please feel free to write me an email.
