社會學為了解人類社會及互動的一門學科,透過這個課程,我們將會學習如何從不同角度觀察生活週遭發生的事以及各種社會現象。社會學研究的主題相當多元,這些主題與我們的日常息息相關,甚至有些議題是每天接觸但很少仔細思考當中的意義,例如族群、性別、階級、教育等等,都影響了社會運作甚至是政策的制定。藉由這堂課,學生們將會系統性地學習到社會的各種層面,同時理解人在當 中扮演的角色,以及社會結構與人如何產生互動關係。
本課程強調系統性的分析與思考,同時要求學生們觀察日常生活中發生的現象,期望學生利用課程中學習到的知識,培養自己分析以及思考的能力。社會學相關的理論相當多元,因此學生們將會在此課程學習到如何用不同的角度、立場去理解他人,以增進對人性的關懷及同理心。Social Sciences To understand human society and interaction, through this course, we will learn how to see what happens in life week and various social phenomena from different perspectives. 這是一門介紹及探討社會學基本概念及社會學所關心探究的社會現象及問題。社會學研究家庭、團體、社區、社會與國家等人群的集結與網絡,也探討文化、宗教、教育、法律規範與政治、經濟等制度與人的關係及對人的影響。本課程討論的這些議題觸及了社會運作的邏輯、社會控制的方式及政治、經濟、教育等資源的分配與不平等的形成,同時也探討性別、種族、階級等人類關係在社會化及制度形成與演變過程中對人的影響。
1.透過社會學觀點理論與社會現象觀察的基本訓練,啟發學生對於社會現象探究之興趣,建構系統性探究社會的基本知識與能力。
2.從重要的社會、文化、政治與經濟等議題的討論,協助學生理解社會體系與社會制度的運作。
3.透過社會學課程,培養學生對於社會上的弱勢族群所處之社會情境,具有提問及思考分析能力,並促使學生對於人群社會有更深層的關懷。
This is an introduction and exploration of the basic concepts of society and the social phenomena and problems that society is concerned about.
