經濟學是研究如何將資源做最有效分配的學問，也可說是一門研究選擇的科學。本課程在使學生對經濟基本概念與分析工具有初步體認，並能應用在日常生活中，作為進一步學習相關領域課程的基礎。課程介紹基本經濟學概念及分析工具，內容涵蓋個體經濟學及總體經濟學領域。本課程目的在於讓同學們認識經濟學如何以不同的模型來理解與分析我們日常生活中的經濟活動，同時也將在課堂中介紹相關經濟情勢與同學們討論。此外，本課程在經濟理論基礎架構下，希望培養學生未來在進行各項決策及面對財經環境與經營管理議題時，能夠運用經濟學專業知識之思考模式。

Economics is the study of how to best allocate resources, or it can also be said to be a science of research and selection. This course enables students to have a preliminary understanding of the basic economic concepts and analytical tools, and can be applied in daily life as a basis for further learning related field courses. The course introduces basic economic concepts and analytical tools, covering the fields of individual economics and overall economics. The purpose of this course is to let students understand how economics understand and analyze economic activities in our daily lives with different models, and will also discuss relevant economic situations with classmates in the classroom. In addition, under the economic theory foundation, this course hopes to train students to use professional economic knowledge thinking modes when making various decisions and facing financial environment and business management issues in the future.
