「社會學？社會學是啥？」、「學社會學能幹麻？」這兩個問題大概是初次聽到「社會學」時會浮現的兩個問題。讓各位在本學期的課程中知道社會學是什麼、知曉社會學觀看各樣事物的角度，是這門課程的主要目標。

我們所身處的世界，是一個強調個體，並且趨向於在個體身上尋找行動理由的世界。翻開報紙、打開電視，各樣的事件充斥在我們的周邊，多數人談論這些事件時，總是過多強調事件主角的個性、人格以及個體選擇等，卻忽略了人是生活在這個社會之中，人的行為與選擇，有很大一部份受到社會結構的影響與限制。社會學的觀點就在幫助我們理解事情如何牽連在一起，幫助我們穿透表象，理解設我們所身處的世界是什麼樣子、以及我們如何參與在其中。

"Social? What is social?", "Can society be irritated?" These two questions are probably two problems that appear when you first hear about "social". Let you know what society is and know the perspective of social viewing various things during this course. This is the main goal of this course.

The world where we are is a world where individuals are focused and tend to find reasons for action in individuals. Turn on the newspaper and open the TV. Various events fill us around us. When most people discuss these events, they always emphasize the personality, personality, and personal choices of the protagonists of the incident, and ignore that people live in this society, and a large part of their behavior and choices are affected and restricted by social structure. The perspective of social science is to help us understand how things turn together, help us penetrate appearances, understand what the world we are in and how we participate in it.
