若說『社會學』是一套觀察與研究社會的知識,那麼這門課就是帶領大家開始摸索『社會學思考方式』的課程。社會學迷人之處在於它沒有一套標準的社會學思考方式,沒有唯一的標準答案也正是首次接觸社會學的大學新鮮人最大的憂慮,因此這門課的目標就是讓同學放棄尋求制式標準答案的慣性,體會以不同的視野重新認識生活世界的新鮮感。這個學期將請你們從日常生活的社會議題著手,對社會上的各式問題與現象抱持好奇與批判思考的精神,然後對你感興趣的現象提出問題,並試著觀察、歸納整理、以及以社會學的各種觀點來統整你的觀察。If "social learning" is a set of knowledge that observes and studies society, then this course is a course that leads everyone to explore "social thinking methods".
