指導學生資料搜尋、選定報告題目、閱讀文獻方法、撰寫報告等，以訓練學生上台報告的能力為主，包括服裝儀容、資料整理、投影片製作、時間管控、台風展現、口語表達技巧、圖表解說以及問題回答等

首先由授課教師自行編寫「專討報告之製作方法」，並且上傳到數位學習平台。其次要求修習學生必須自下載，詳細閱讀。
隨後，由修習學生自行選定研究主題，並以該主題之相關論文、期刊與書籍作為該次專題研究之參考書籍與資料。
