藉由討論醫療糾紛一系列的重要相關研究，由台灣醫療糾紛現狀出發、探討醫療過失的判斷、醫師的告知義務、醫療糾紛的民事及刑事責任、醫療糾紛的鑑定以及醫療糾紛的舉證責任等議題，幫助學生學習如何結合傳統的法學論述以及法實證分析研究，以提升其進行法學相關研究之基本能力。本課程不僅是關心醫療糾紛的研究生之首選課程，也是對於法學研究有興趣的研究生之必選課程。

By discussing a series of important related research on medical disputes, students can learn how to combine traditional legal theory and legal analysis and research, to improve their basic ability to conduct legal related research, to improve their basic ability to conduct legal related research.
