本課程旨在介紹社會學的基本概念與觀點，帶領學生認識社會學所關心的社會現象與問題，並培養運用「社會學的想像力」理解個人經驗與社會環境之間關係的能力。透過社會學觀點、理論與社會現象觀察的基本訓練，引導學生從日常生活中提出問題，理解看似個人的選擇、行為與生命經驗如何受到文化、社會關係、制度與結構的影響，逐步建立系統性探究社會的基本知識與能力。

課程內容分為三個主要單元：第一單元〈社會學的視野與基本概念〉從社會學觀點出發，探討文化、消費社會、團體與組織，以及偏差與犯罪，引導學生理解文化、群體、社會規範與社會控制如何影響人的行動與日常生活。第二單元〈社會結構中的不平等〉聚焦階級、性/別與族群關係，探討不同群體在社會化與制度運作中的處境，以及政治、經濟、教育等社會資源如何分配，進而理解社會不平等的形成與延續。第三單元〈社會制度與生活世界〉則從家庭、教育、經濟與工作、權力與政治體系及社會運動等面向，理解重要社會制度的運作，以及制度與個人生活經驗之間的關係，並進一步思考權力、資源分配與社會變遷。本課程除課堂講授外，也透過課堂活動、專題演講及社會學反思等學習活動，讓學生實際練習從日常生活與社會現象中發現問題，並嘗試運用社會學概念進行描述、提問與分析。每週並透過「課堂反思回饋單」整理學習內容與提出疑問，促進學生與課程內容、自身經驗及不同社會議題之間的對話。

期望學生完成本課程後，能掌握社會學的基本概念，理解社會體系與社會制度的運作，並具備從個人經驗連結社會關係、制度與結構的分析能力。同時，透過階級、性/別、族群、家庭、教育與勞動等議題的討論，培養學生對社會不平等及弱勢群體所處社會情境的敏銳度，能進一步提出問題、思考其社會成因，並發展對不同群體與人群社會的理解與關懷，作為未來社會工作專業學習的重要基石。(20260827)

This course aims to introduce the basic concepts and perspectives of sociology, lead students to understand the social phenomena and issues that sociology is concerned about, and cultivate the ability to use "sociological imagination" to understand the relationship between personal experience and social environment. Through basic training in sociological perspectives, theories and observation of social phenomena, students are guided to ask questions from daily life, understand how seemingly personal choices, behaviors and life experiences are affected by culture, social relations, systems and structures, and gradually establish basic knowledge and abilities to systematically explore society.

The course content is divided into three main units: The first unit "Visions and Basic Concepts of Sociology" starts from the sociological perspective and explores culture, consumer society, groups and organizations, as well as deviation and crime, and guides students to understand how culture, groups, social norms and social control affect people's actions and daily life. The second unit, "Inequality in Social Structure," focuses on class, gender, and ethnic relations, exploring the situations of different groups in socialization and institutional operations, as well as how social resources such as politics, economy, and education are distributed, so as to understand the formation and continuation of social inequality. The third unit "Social System and Life World" focuses on understanding the operation of important social systems and the relationship between systems and personal life experience from the aspects of family, education, economy and work, power and political systems, and social movements, and further thinking about power, resource distribution, and social changes. In addition to classroom lectures, this course also uses classroom activities, special lectures, sociological reflections and other learning activities to allow students to practice identifying problems in daily life and social phenomena, and try to use sociological concepts to describe, question and analyze. Every week, the "Class Reflection Feedback Sheet" is used to organize the learning content and raise questions to promote dialogue between students and course content, their own experiences and different social issues.

It is expected that after completing this course, students will be able to master the basic concepts of sociology, understand the operation of social systems and social institutions, and have the analytical ability to connect social relations, systems and structures from personal experience. At the same time, through discussions on issues such as class, gender, ethnicity, family, education, and labor, students will be able to develop their sensitivity to social inequality and the social situations of disadvantaged groups, and be able to further raise questions, think about their social causes, and develop understanding and care for different groups and societies, which will serve as an important cornerstone for future social work professional studies. 這是一門介紹及探討社會學基本概念及社會學所關心探究的社會現象及問題。社會學研究家庭、團體、社區、社會與國家等人群的集結與網絡，也探討文化、宗教、教育、法律規範與政治、經濟等制度與人的關係及對人的影響。本課程討論的這些議題觸及了社會運作的邏輯、社會控制的方式及政治、經濟、教育等資源的分配與不平等的形成，同時也探討性別、種族、階級等人類關係在社會化及制度形成與演變過程中對人的影響。
1.透過社會學觀點理論與社會現象觀察的基本訓練，啟發學生對於社會現象探究之興趣，建構系統性探究社會的基本知識與能力。
2.從重要的社會、文化、政治與經濟等議題的討論，協助學生理解社會體系與社會制度的運作。

This is a course that introduces and explores the basic concepts of sociology and the social phenomena and issues that sociology is concerned with exploring. Sociology studies the gathering and networks of groups of people, such as families, groups, communities, societies, and countries. It also explores the relationship between culture, religion, education, legal norms, political, economic and other systems and people and their impact on people. The topics discussed in this course touch on the logic of social operation, the methods of social control, the distribution of political, economic, educational and other resources and the formation of inequality. It also explores the impact of gender, race, class and other human relations on people in the process of socialization and the formation and evolution of institutions.
