本課程嘗試著讓學生了解到經濟學的基本知識，從最基礎的供給、需求開始談起，一直到國際經濟局勢的內容。同學們在修習本課程之後，能夠學會以經濟的角度來觀察週遭所發生的公共政策議題，舉凡生育、教育、犯罪、環保等議題。行政系的學生可以藉由本課程的學習來了解到經濟學的基本知識，並且能夠去對經濟學有所喜愛，不再有恐懼感。本課程內涵包括了個體經濟學和總體經濟學兩個部份，欲將個體行為分析與總體理論架構同時作一有系統的貫穿連結並且採取深入淺出的方式作一介紹（但會較著重在總體經濟學的部份）。其中，在個體經濟方面，包括了以下主題：供給與需求、效用與消費者選擇等主題；而在總體經濟方面，包括了：金融體系與貨幣政策、政府收支與財政政策、總合需求與供給、失業與通膨、景氣循環與經濟成長、國際貿易與國際金融等主題。特別需要強調的是，本堂經濟學會著重在總體經濟學的部份，以作為之後的必修課「財務行政」之準備。

This course attempts to let students understand the basic knowledge of economics, starting from the most basic supply and demand, and all the contents of the International Economic Affairs Bureau. After taking this course, students can learn about the public policy issues that occur from an economic perspective, including fertility, education, crime, environmental protection and other issues. Students in the administrative department can learn the basic knowledge of economics through the course, and can also enjoy economics and no longer feel afraid. The content of this course includes two parts: individual economics and general economics. It is intended to introduce the analysis of individual behaviors and general theoretical structures at the same time as a systematic and thorough manner (but will focus more on the overall economics part). Among them, in terms of individual economy, the following topics are included: supply and demand, utility and consumer choice; and in terms of overall economy, the following topics include: financial system and currency policy, government revenue and expenditure and financial policy, general demand and supply, unemployment and inflation, prosperity and economic growth, international trade and international finance and other topics. It is particularly important to emphasize that the economics in this classroom will focus on the overall economics as a preparation for the compulsory course "Financial Administration".

經濟學入門課程，課程涵蓋個體經濟與總體經濟學。旨在培養建立經濟思考方式，暸解經濟體系基本運作架構以及政策與經濟體系之的因果關係。
