以數理方式了解(1)中央銀行穩定政策(Taylor’s rule and Taylor’s principle)、(2)金融危機、金融摩擦(financial friction)、零利率下限政策(zero interest rate lower bound Policy, ZIRLBP)與景氣波動、(3)經濟成長理論【涵蓋外生(exogenous growth)與內生成長(endogenous growth)理論】、(4)政府預算赤字、公債的發行與歐債危機(Euro-debts crisis)、(5)各總體行為函數(涵蓋貨幣需求函數、貨幣供給函數、消費函數與投資函數)之設定、(6)Barro完整跨時一般均衡模型的個體基礎與總體均衡等六大課題,本課程可做為學生職涯發展的準備.

Understand mathematically (1) central bank stabilization policy (Taylor’s rule and Taylor’s principle), (2) financial crisis, financial friction, zero interest rate lower bound policy (ZIRLBP) and business fluctuations, (3) economic growth theory [covering exogenous growth and endogenous growth theory], (4) government budget deficit, public debt issuance and the Euro-debts crisis), (5) the setting of each overall behavior function (covering money demand function, money supply function, consumption function and investment function), (6) individual foundation and overall equilibrium of Barro's complete inter-temporal general equilibrium model, etc. This course can serve as preparation for students' career development.

本課程以數理分析方式，介紹各總體學派的理論內容與政策涵義，並探討政府在經濟社會扮演的角色。內容涵蓋古典學派、凱因斯學派、貨幣學派、新興古典學派、新興凱因斯學派、實質景氣循環、供給面學派與經濟成長理論。

This course uses mathematical analysis to introduce the theoretical content and policy implications of each general school, and explores the role of the government in the economy and society. The content covers the classical school, Keynesian school, monetary school, emerging classical school, emerging Keynesian school, real business cycle, supply-side school and economic growth theory.
