(1)培養學生在面對資源有限的環境下，如何應用經濟學基本觀念來達成極大化消費者的效用、廠商的利潤與經濟的效率，讓學生在作各種決策時，能具有成本效益分析的能力，(2)瞭解政府總體經濟政策的施行對總體經濟環境的影響，以讓學生將來面對財經環境與經營管理相關議題時，都能夠運用經濟學專業知識來達成前述的課程目標。本課程之主要內容:(1).個體經濟學導論:包含供給與需求、市場均衡分析、消費者與生產者決策理論、完全競爭市場與獨佔市場等市場結構理論、外部效果與公共財等。(2).總體經濟學導論:包含國民所得的意義與衡量、經濟福利、景氣循環、經濟成長、失業、物價膨脹與總體經濟政策等。

(1) Cultivate students how to apply basic economic concepts to maximize consumer utility, manufacturer profits and economic efficiency in an environment with limited resources, so that students can have the ability to perform cost-benefit analysis when making various decisions.
