Microeconomics

教育目標 Course Target

1.基本的圖形及數理分析能力。
2.探討消費者及廠商的選擇行為。
3.瞭解競爭市場的運作。
4.探討市場失靈的問題。
5.分析不完全競爭市場。
6.探討要素市場。本課程旨在分析個別決策者(消費者、廠商)的選擇行為,及由此所導致的市場價格及資源配置狀況,以期對經濟活動(或行為)有更佳的瞭解。本課程屬於進階課程,著重在細膩分析,有較多模型或圖形的討論。課程內容包括:消費者選擇理論與應用、不確定狀況下之選擇、生產與成本、競爭性市場、不完全競爭市場、獨占力下的定價行為、基本賽局理論、要素市場理論、一般均衡理論、訊息不對稱及市場失靈等。

1. Basic graphics and mathematical analysis skills.
2. Explore the choice behavior of consumers and manufacturers.
3. Understand the operation of competitive markets.
4. Discuss the problem of market failure.
5. Analyze imperfectly competitive markets.
6. Discuss factor markets. This course aims to analyze the choice behavior of individual decision makers (consumers, manufacturers) and the resulting market prices and resource allocation conditions, in order to have a better understanding of economic activities (or behaviors). This course is an advanced course, focusing on detailed analysis, with more discussion of models or graphics. Course contents include: consumer choice theory and application, choice under uncertainty, production and cost, competitive market, imperfectly competitive market, pricing behavior under monopoly power, basic game theory, factor market theory, general equilibrium theory, information asymmetry and market failure, etc.
