This course is an introduction to the basic concepts and tools of microeconomics and macroeconomics. We study how markets work, with an emphasis on analysis of the effects of public policy on the welfare of society.

Economics is a study of how to use rare sex resources to make the most efficient allocation, aiming to explore how people choose under limited resources, and what results will result from the activities they choose. Therefore, economics can also be said to be a science of research and selection. This course introduces basic economic concepts and analytical tools to study how to configure limited resources to each mutually exclusive uses in order to gain an in-depth understanding of economic activities (behavior). The course content covers individual economics and overall economics. Personal economic content includes: rational choice method, how the market operates, market loss and government role, inconsistent information, and economic analysis of the law. The overall economic content includes: general economic discussions, the meaning of national income, price inflation and unemployment, currency and financial markets, international economy, etc.
