經濟學旨在探討人們在有限的資源下如何做選擇?以及人們所選擇的活動,會造成什麼樣的結果?由於人們受到利己心的驅使,在資源(預算限制)及制度(法律規範)等限制條件下,會做理性選擇,以爭取最大私利,故個體經濟學亦可視為研究人類選擇行為的學問。長久以來,經由理論及實證研究的發展,經濟學已建構出一系列的模型,可用來解釋或預測經濟活動的結果。本課程旨在分析個別決策者(消費者、廠商)的選擇行為,及由此所導致的市場價格及資源配置狀況,以期對經濟活動(或行為)有更佳的瞭解。本課程屬於進階課程,著重在細膩分析,有較多模型或圖形的討論。課程內容包括:消費者選擇理論與應用、不確定狀況下之選擇、生產與成本、競爭性市場、不完全競爭市場、獨占力下的定價行為、基本賽局理論、要素市場理論、一般均衡理論、訊息不對稱及市場失靈等。
Economics aims to explore how people choose under limited resources? And what results will the activities chosen by people cause? Since people are driven by selfishness, they will make rational choices under restrictions such as resources (budget restrictions) and systems (legal regulations) to compete for the greatest self-interest. Therefore, individual economics can also be regarded as a learning question for studying human choice behavior. Over the years, through the development of theoretical and practical research, economics has constructed a series of models that can be used to explain or predict the results of economic activities. This course aims to analyze the selection behavior of individual decision makers (consumers, manufacturers) and the resulting market prices and resource allocation conditions in order to have a better understanding of economic activities (or behavior). This course belongs to advanced courses, focusing on detailed analysis, and discussing more models or graphics. The course includes: consumer selection theory and application, selection under uncertain conditions, production and cost, competitive market, incomplete competition market, pricing behavior under independent occupation, basic competition theory, factor market theory, general balance theory , information is not correct or market loss, etc.
