學生利用寒暑假時間到教師研究室從事專題研究，學習實驗技術、資料數據處理彙整及實驗成果撰寫。訓練學生就專業領域收集文獻、歸納整理、口頭報告及討論之能力。

Students use their winter and summer vacations to engage in special research in the teacher's laboratory, learning experimental techniques, data processing and collection, and writing of experimental results. Train students' ability to collect documents, summarize and organize, give oral reports and discuss in professional fields.

課程之設計為培養學生成為具有專業技能及實務經驗之人才。透過專題之實作，學生可將理論與實務相印證，提升理論學習效果，並強化學生的實務能力。並提供本系學生專題演講，每位同學每學期均需聆聽至少6場專題演講，並當場撰寫心得報告，使之能吸收更前瞻技術或資訊相關新知的管道，使人才培育更能符合產業界的需求。

The curriculum is designed to train students to become talents with professional skills and practical experience. Through the implementation of special topics, students can verify theory and practice, improve theoretical learning effects, and strengthen students' practical abilities. It also provides special lectures for students in this department. Each student is required to listen to at least 6 special lectures each semester and write a report on their experiences on the spot, so that they can absorb more forward-looking technologies or information-related new knowledge, so that talent cultivation can better meet the needs of the industry.
