Seminar on Linguistic Analysis of Chinese
教育目標 Course Target
本課程是語言對比分析的基礎課程。對於「對比分析」的理論概念與原則介紹,使學生有能力構思議題、掌握相關文獻、搜尋資料、整理語料、語言分析。學生將廣泛研讀文獻上有關對比分析的論文,並學習將分析結果實際應用於華語教學上。本課程旨在訓練學生透過語料的蒐集、語言事實的觀察與分析 來培養把句法現象與句法規律加以條理化的能力。在學習過程中,針對客觀的語言事實進行詳細的觀察與周延的分析,並經過「大膽的假設、小心的求證」來仔細的驗證與不斷的修 正。本課特別注重語言現象的條理化,以及如何補強佐證與處 理反證,進而學習如何寫一篇完整的學術論文。又,本課所謂 的「對比研究」,包括不同語言之間的「對比分析」(contrastive analysis) 與同屬漢語的不同方言之間的「比較研究」。授課方法課程內容將除了採取一般授課方式以外,鼓勵由學生以「自己提問」與「自己試答」的方式來撰寫報告,並由「師生共同討論」的方式來逐一研習如何選擇論文主題。
This course is a basic course in comparative analysis of language. An introduction to the theoretical concepts and principles of "contrastive analysis" enables students to conceive of topics, master relevant literature, search for information, organize corpus, and perform language analysis. Students will extensively read papers on comparative analysis in the literature and learn to apply the analysis results to Chinese language teaching. This course aims to train students to develop their ability to organize syntactic phenomena and syntactic rules through the collection of corpus and the observation and analysis of linguistic facts. During the learning process, detailed observation and comprehensive analysis of objective language facts are carried out, and they are carefully verified and continuously revised through "bold assumptions and careful verification". This course pays special attention to the organization of language phenomena, as well as how to strengthen evidence and deal with counter-evidence, and then learn how to write a complete academic paper. In addition, the so-called "contrastive study" in this lesson includes "contrastive analysis" between different languages and "comparative study" between different dialects of the same Chinese language. Teaching Methods: In addition to the general teaching methods, the course content will encourage students to write reports by "asking their own questions" and "trying and answering their own questions", and study how to choose thesis topics one by one through "discussions between teachers and students".
