To me, social science is a very exciting subject, and I can do my best to pursue it: What is society? How does society affect us? And, how can we change society? From the news media, we can see many heart-wrenching news events every day, from murder cases, suspicion problems, political corruption, ethnic discrimination and even international wars, etc., which are constantly repeated. Social science tries to re-understand these "cases" from the height of "structure", to diagnose the true roots of social problems, and to seek public solutions as much as possible. In short, society is a science that takes "society" as its research object. But compared to natural science, the special difficulty of society is that we live in society ourselves, and socialists are also social products! It is not easy to clarify a social phenomenon. Our understanding of society must involve various cultures, customs, prejudice, ideology or stakeholders. Therefore, social learning often inevitably challenges the sensitive nerves of society, intervenes in the so-called level, gender, power or discrimination, and triggers endless discussions. Especially in this era of crisis, various social problems, including anti-globalization, populism, basic religions, conservative aspirations, social welfare dissolution, debt crisis, national conflicts, world order reorganization, etc., how to maintain a clear, inclusive and progress is even more a challenge. When you come back, maybe this kind of intellectual situation full of strength and contradiction is the charm of society. This was the case in the past, and so was today. The premise of social work should be to truly understand society. I won’t say much, and you are welcome to join the thinking journey of society!
