課程採主題式教學,除基本寫作方式之外,主要以散文和小說為基礎,並補充數篇中國古典散文與小說故事，期望學生能學會如何欣賞文學之美,瞭解作家創作時的心境與寫作背景,並在修習此學科之後,能充分與現代日常生活作聯結,使文學知識與文學創意能信手拈來,運用在自己的平日生活點滴、其他學科與未來職場上。

The course adopts thematic teaching. In addition to basic writing methods, it is mainly based on prose and novels, and is supplemented with several Chinese classical prose and novel stories. It is expected that students can learn how to appreciate the beauty of literature, understand the writer's mood and writing background when creating, and after studying this subject, they can fully connect it with modern daily life, so that literary knowledge and literary creativity can be easily grasped and used in their daily life, other subjects and future workplaces.

課程定位：
「中文」課程為全校大一新生共同必修課程之一，學分數2-2，共計4學分。以學院為單位，開設數門專題式文學課程，供學生依照個人興趣選課，以期能熟悉部分文學類型，達到文學欣賞、文化陶冶的目的。


教學目標：
一、分析問題與欣賞文藝，提升個人對文學藝術的知性和感性能力。
二、駕馭並應用語文、文學、文化的知識能力。
三、掌握語文表達能力。
四、具備思辨的內涵和能力。


教學內容：
透過古典或現代文學代表作品，呈現豐富、活潑的文學風格及面貌，使同學能深入探討中國文化、汲取心靈智慧、傳承文化資源，體會文學生活化、現代化及持續發展的生命力。教材擇取上，除配合教學目標外，亦根據各學院之不同特性而予以調整，另於課堂上輔以分組討論、報告、作品分享等學習方式，活化課程。並規定每學期的習作篇數，以收實際成效。

一、提升閱讀、欣賞及寫作之興趣與能力。
二、提升思辯、語文表達能力。
三、養成廣泛閱讀的習慣，增進涵泳文學、文化之能力。
四、開拓生活視野，培育文化素養，加強人文關懷。

Course positioning:
The "Chinese" course is one of the compulsory courses for all freshmen in the school. The number of credits is 2-2, totaling 4 credits. And stipulate the number of exercises per semester to achieve actual results.
