本課程的實施對象為應用數學系大一新生,希望達成目標如下:
1. 學生能夠自我思考自己的數學性向,興趣與未來三年的學習方向之關聯。
2. 學生願意思考有效率的學習方式應付大學專業課程,並且懂得在適當時機自我調整。
3. 學生願意思考有效率的方式管理自己的時間,以期在課業,打工與運動休閒各方面取得平衡,並且懂得在適當時機自我調整。
4. 學生願意關心公共事務,並且願意思考大學生乃至於知識份子在重要事件中可以發揮的影響。This course is intended for freshmen in the Department of Applied Mathematics. It hopes to achieve the following goals:
1. Students can think about the relationship between their mathematical aptitudes and interests and their study directions in the next three years.
2. Students are willing to think about efficient learning methods to cope with university professional courses, and know how to adjust themselves at appropriate times.
3. Students are willing to think about efficient ways to manage their time in order to achieve a balance between academic work, part-time work and sports and leisure, and know how to adjust themselves at the appropriate time.
4. Students are willing to care about public affairs and are willing to think about the impact that college students and even intellectuals can play in important events.
以「什麼是大學?」、「大學怎麼學?」、「大學怎麼活?」、「人際關係」,以及「多元學習與認識自我」等五大主題,協助新鮮人融入大學生活。
課程教學以引導討論為主體,輔以共同演講,並藉由alpha leader的協助,提升新鮮人的反思能力,進而產生參與大學生活的實踐感。
It helps freshmen integrate into university life with five major themes: "What is university?", "How to study in university?", "How to live in university?", "Interpersonal relationships", and "Diversified learning and self-understanding".
The course teaching is mainly based on guided discussions, supplemented by joint lectures, and with the assistance of alpha leaders, it improves the reflective ability of freshmen, thereby creating a practical sense of participating in university life.
