統計學課程是要讓同學們學會如何去理解、描述、分析、預測我們這個充滿未知且隨機變動的世界的各種現象。所謂的「未知」,不但包括對「尚未實現的未來事件」的未知,也包括那些「雖然重要但卻無法掌握」的資訊或影響因素。無論是要評估行銷方案的成效,還是要認識並管理匯率、股價變動的風險,都需要統計學觀念的指引;因為它們都牽涉到未知、隨機的因素。因此,本課程旨在讓同學們學會統計學的基本觀念;這些觀念不但能幫助同學們順利銜接後續眾多課程的學習,還能讓同學們知道如何以合乎科學的方式去收集、處理、分析、並解讀資訊,以提升決策品質。課程內容除了介紹關於如何整理、呈現資料的敍述統計方法,更重要的是要讓同學們學會推論統計觀念,包括認識何謂隨機事件、隨機變數,並了解估計及假設檢定的原理及方法。The course of the study is to let students learn how to understand, describe, analyze, and predict the various phenomena of our world full of unknown and randomly changing. The so-called "unknown" not only includes unknowns about "unrealized future events", but also information or influencing factors that are "even though important but unaware". Regardless of whether it is to evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing plan, or to recognize and manage the risks of exchange rates and share price changes, it requires guidance from statistical concepts; because they all involve unknown and random factors. Therefore, this course aims to let students learn basic concepts of association’s discipline; these concepts not only help students successfully continue learning of multiple courses, but also let students know how to collect, process, analyze in a scientific way. and interpret information to improve decision quality. In addition to introducing the statistical methods of how to organize and present data, the course content is more important to let students recommend the concepts, including knowing what random events and random variables are, and understanding the principles and methods of estimation and hypothesis confirmation.
今天,對統計學的理解、研究和應用,已經擴展到自然科學、社會科學、工程技術、管理、經濟、藝術和文學的各個領域。一般人利用統計訊息在日常生活中作出各種抉擇,制定將來的計畫。為了能對所有有效的訊息正確的理解和應用,人們有必要掌握一定的統計知識。
統計方法是現今計量科學研究中最常用的方法之一,但是,隨著科技的進步、套裝軟體的發達,同學可以很容易的處理一些基本資料的分析及推論,而方法背後的理論基礎及涵意卻是一知半解,甚至錯誤的離譜。因此,本課程的主要目的是讓同學能獲得正確的統計基本原理、概念及素養。盡量教授一些看起來簡單、合理、合乎邏輯的概念禪述,避免艱深的內容和太多的數學推導,以免造成學習障礙與疏離,進而使同學失去學習興趣。
本課程基本上包含:
1. 敘述統計:關於數據資料的描述及整理。
2. 機率論:統計推論的基礎。
3. 統計推論:分析數據資料的方法。
Today, the understanding, research and application of disciplines has expanded to various fields of natural sciences, social sciences, engineering technology, management, economy, art and literature. Most people use stereotype information to make various decisions in their daily lives and formulate plans to come. In order to correctly understand and apply all effective messages, it is necessary for people to master certain statistical knowledge.
The statistical method is one of the most commonly used methods in today's quantitative scientific research. However, with the advancement of technology and the development of software packages, students can easily handle the analysis and recommendation of some basic data, and the theoretical basis and connotation behind the method. The meaning is a reflection of only a little understanding or even a mistake. Therefore, the main purpose of this course is to enable students to obtain correct statistical basic principles, concepts and cultivation. As much as possible, teach some simple, reasonable and logical concept descriptions, avoid deep content and too much mathematical guidance, so as not to cause learning obstacles and disconnection, and thus make students lose their learning interest.
This course basically includes:
1. Statistics: Description and sorting of data.
2. Opportunity theory: the basis of statistical recommendation.
3. Statistical recommendation: Methods for analyzing data.
