教育目標 Course Target
歡迎大家共同來關心台灣社會,身為大學生—社會的中堅份子,老師期盼你我能夠深入理解社會、關懷社會,進而改善社會,這是所有共同生活在這塊土地上的社會人的共識與責任。
  社會學可以是改變社會現狀的理論工具,也可以是研究社會問題的知識圖譜。
    從105學年上學期開始,我嘗試將社會學課程結合日常生活之社會現狀觀察,與社會問題的分析與診治,從首屆的「社區與社會連結企畫書」,我們探討了東海學區交通、宿舍區空氣污染,與勞作教育等改善方案,以及學生打工權益與性別平等保障等議題,另外還有友善寵物、自營食堂等從大學生的公民責任出發的關懷學區與週邊社區的企畫案。第二屆則對焦於「社會學與社會問題報告」,選定「高齡社會」做為期末報告的探究主題,各組提出了共乘交通運輸、老社區物資交換、志願人力互助銀行、社區藥局與生活便利社、老人復健、運動與休閒規劃、醫療巡迴、銀髮食堂與銀髮科技手環、智慧輔具設計等九項解決高齡社會問題的方案。
    到了第三屆,社會學的研究主題與社會現狀密切關聯,我們對焦於「勞動社會學」,藉以闡示有關血汗勞動的勞動條件與勞動權益之倡議,小組的研究主題包括:勞動社會學之法制面面觀、藍領、白領與粉領工作的勞動條件比較、工作貧窮、非典型工作(兼職/臨時工)勞動條件分析、職場性別不平等、托育政策&長照體系&現代婦女角色、再到網路新世代勞動觀探討、東海大學生的打工處境報告書等新興的現象探討。
    故社會學的教學目標,首先是引介社會學之眼的視角,提示大家如何重新審視社會問題;再來傳授社會學理論家與其知識圖譜,最後則交由學生思考,提出解決之道。
Everyone is welcome to care about Taiwanese society. As college students, the backbone of society, the teacher hopes that you and I can deeply understand society, care about society, and then improve society. This is the consensus and responsibility of all people living in this land.
  Sociology can be a theoretical tool to change the social status quo, or it can be a knowledge map for studying social issues.
    Starting from the first semester of the 105 school year, I tried to combine the sociology course with the observation of the social status quo in daily life and the analysis and diagnosis of social problems. From the first "Community and Society Connection Plan", we discussed improvement plans for traffic in the Donghai School District, air pollution in dormitories, and labor education, as well as issues such as students' working rights and gender equality protection. In addition, there are also plans to care for the school district and surrounding communities based on the civic responsibilities of college students, such as friendly pets and self-operated canteens. The second session focused on "Report on Sociology and Social Issues" and selected "Aging Society" as the theme of the final report. Each group proposed nine solutions to the problems of the elderly society, including ride-sharing transportation, material exchange in elderly communities, voluntary mutual aid banks, community pharmacies and convenience clubs, rehabilitation for the elderly, sports and leisure planning, medical tours, silver canteens and silver technology bracelets, and smart assistive device design.
    In the third term, the research topics of sociology are closely related to the current social situation. We focused on "labor sociology" to illustrate the labor conditions and labor rights initiatives related to hard work. The group's research topics include: legal aspects of labor sociology, blue-collar, white-collar and pink-collar work Comparison of labor conditions, working poverty, analysis of labor conditions in atypical jobs (part-time/temporary workers), gender inequality in the workplace, child care policy & long-term care system & role of modern women, to discussion of new generation labor views on the Internet, report on working situation of Tokai college students and other emerging phenomena.
    Therefore, the teaching goal of sociology is first to introduce the perspective of sociology and remind everyone how to re-examine social problems; then to teach sociological theorists and their knowledge map; and finally to let students think and propose solutions.
課程概述 Course Description
這是一門介紹及探討社會學基本概念及社會學所關心探究的社會現象及問題。社會學研究家庭、團體、社區、社會與國家等人群的集結與網絡,也探討文化、宗教、教育、法律規範與政治、經濟等制度與人的關係及對人的影響。本課程討論的這些議題觸及了社會運作的邏輯、社會控制的方式及政治、經濟、教育等資源的分配與不平等的形成,同時也探討性別、種族、階級等人類關係在社會化及制度形成與演變過程中對人的影響。
1.透過社會學觀點理論與社會現象觀察的基本訓練,啟發學生對於社會現象探究之興趣,建構系統性探究社會的基本知識與能力。
2.從重要的社會、文化、政治與經濟等議題的討論,協助學生理解社會體系與社會制度的運作。 
3.透過社會學課程,培養學生對於社會上的弱勢族群所處之社會情境,具有提問及思考分析能力,並促使學生對於人群社會有更深層的關懷。
This is a course that introduces and explores the basic concepts of sociology and the social phenomena and issues that sociology is concerned with exploring. Sociology studies the gathering and networks of people such as families, groups, communities, societies, and countries, and also explores the relationship between culture, religion, education, legal norms, political, economic and other systems and people and their impact on people. The topics discussed in this course touch on the logic of social operation, the methods of social control, the distribution of political, economic, educational and other resources and the formation of inequality. It also explores the impact of gender, race, class and other human relations on people in the process of socialization and the formation and evolution of institutions.
1. Through basic training in sociological perspective theory and social phenomenon observation, students are inspired to be interested in exploring social phenomena and build basic knowledge and abilities to systematically explore society.
2. Help students understand social systems and the operation of social systems through discussions on important social, cultural, political and economic issues. 
3. Through sociology courses, students can develop their ability to ask questions and think and analyze the social situations of disadvantaged groups in society, and encourage students to have a deeper concern for society.
