本課程將以Alan Swingewood 之Sociological Poetics and Aesthetic Theory ( 1987. NY: St.Martin's Press.) (This is a pre-order course, please focus on the version of the course information announcement on the post-school social system website)
This course will take Alan Swingewood's Sociological Poetics and Aesthetic Theory ( 1987. NY: St.Martin's Press.) as its main reading, and will be accompanied by other literary and social textbooks to examine several major literary, aesthetic and cultural theories that outline the possibilities of modern literary and artistic social sciences. The topics explored in this period are divided into two units: in the first unit, the roots of social theory and social aesthetics development since the 19th century, including the proof theory, historical theory and Marxism, and the further development of literary and artistic society in contemporary Marxism, formalism, structuralism and literary theory. The second unit will try to master the key elements of the basic social sciences of the esoteric arts, including the exploration of historical, cultural and social and political factors. In addition to theoretical study, the course is expected to include practical literary and artistic analysis to verify the initiation and limitations of theoretical research. We hope that through the in-depth study of social poetry and aesthetic theory, we can stimulate both academic thinking and literary creation itself.
