在人類世界當中，「權力與資源的分配」是不可或缺的重要課題；這也表示「政治」無處不在。從廣義的角度而論，政治學旨在探討配置權力與資源的相關議題，包括行為者、制度、思維、以及行動模式等。本課程的目標是引領學生認識政治學的內涵及重要概念，以期培養政治視野。課程內容涵蓋以下主題：一，理論和意識形態；二，主權國家和失敗國家；三，民主、憲政與政體；四，政治態度與互動；五，資源配置的遊戲規則及制度；六，國際關係。只要對政治學感興趣，無論是否有基礎，均歡迎選修本課程。

In the human world, "distribution of power and resources" is an indispensable and important issue; this also means that "politics" is everywhere. From a broad perspective, political science aims to explore issues related to the allocation of power and resources, including actors, institutions, thinking, and action patterns. The goal of this course is to lead students to understand the connotation and important concepts of political science, with a view to cultivating political vision. The course content covers the following topics: 1. Theory and ideology; 2. Sovereign states and failed states; 3. Democracy, constitutionalism and political system; 4. Political attitudes and interactions; 5. Game rules and systems for resource allocation; 6. International relations. Anyone interested in political science is welcome to take this course regardless of whether they have any basic knowledge.

本課程試圖幫助學習者深入瞭解政治事務。一方面回顧長期累積的重要概念；另一方面試圖說明這些概念和21世紀初期真實世界間的關聯性，並試圖從實證角度闡明政治結構和運作過程。其中包括個人政治信念和作為，以及團體和國家的變化情形。

This course attempts to provide learners with an in-depth understanding of political affairs. On the one hand, it reviews the important concepts accumulated over a long period of time; on the other hand, it attempts to illustrate the correlation between these concepts and the real world in the early 21st century, and attempts to elucidate the political structure and operation process from an empirical perspective. These include personal political beliefs and actions, as well as changes in groups and countries.
