教育目標 Course Target

為因應瞬息萬變的世界局勢, 身為一名地球村的公民,一名修習政治相關知識課程之研究者,我們應該對幾項容易混淆的概念作出釐清。
(例如:研究政治者與從政者的差別?國家權力與經濟運行的關係?民主體制與民意形成的過程...等等。)
希冀藉由本課程的講授與討論,能提供所有修習「政治學」入門課程的修課同學,具備諸多相關的基本知識。以進一步引領修課學生奠定未來朝向各年級專精領域修習的重要基礎。本課之課程名稱為「政治學」。該課程在理論基礎及政治學原理、概念的引述及介紹上,具有重要的基礎建構之意義。本課程的授課主軸,包括幾大層面:政治基礎、政治態度、政治互動、政治制度、政治體系作用…等面向。其授課範疇更涵括:政治科學、當代理論、意識型態、國家概念、憲法基礎、政體實踐、政治文化、民意調查、政治傳播、政黨與利益團體、選舉制度、立法與司法機構、政治經濟學與國際關係…等。授課內容多元且包羅萬象。對於初受「政治學」課程洗禮的學生而言,本課程不僅是重要的基礎入門課程,更是大一學生未來進一步延伸理論建構及邏輯思考養成的重要踏板。

In response to the rapidly changing world situation, as a citizen of the global village and a researcher taking political-related knowledge courses, we should clarify several concepts that are easily confused.
(For example: study the difference between politicians and politicians? The relationship between state power and economic operation? The process of democratic system and public opinion formation...etc.)
It is hoped that through the teaching and discussion of this course, all students taking introductory courses in "Political Science" will be able to acquire a lot of relevant basic knowledge. To further guide students taking courses and lay an important foundation for future studies in specialized fields at each grade. The course name of this course is "Political Science". This course has important significance in basic construction in terms of theoretical foundations and quotation and introduction of political science principles and concepts. The main teaching axis of this course includes several aspects: political foundation, political attitude, political interaction, political system, role of political system, etc. Its teaching scope also covers: political science, contemporary theory, ideology, national concepts, constitutional foundations, political practice, political culture, public opinion polls, political communication, political parties and interest groups, electoral systems, legislative and judicial institutions, political economy and international relations, etc. The course content is diverse and all-inclusive. For students who are new to the "Political Science" course, this course is not only an important basic introductory course, but also an important stepping stone for first-year students to further extend their theoretical construction and develop logical thinking in the future.

課程概述 Course Description

人是政治的動物,凡有人的地方必存在政治,可以說政治與生活是息息相關,而民主國家的公民對於政治的認識和參與更是不可或缺。本課程主要介紹當前政治學的主要理論,並參酌國內政治情勢的發展,藉由理論與實際的相互驗證,引發學生對於政治現象的興趣,進而培養學生對於政治事務的基本知識,具備政治啟悟及獨立思考能力。

Humans are political animals, and politics must exist wherever there are people. It can be said that politics and life are closely related, and citizens in democratic countries are indispensable for political understanding and participation. This course mainly introduces the main theories of current political science, and takes into account the development of domestic political situations. Through mutual verification of theory and practice, it arouses students' interest in political phenomena, and then cultivates students' basic knowledge of political affairs, and equips them with political enlightenment and independent thinking ability.
