在實用至上的當今台灣高等教育環境裡,作為語文教育最後一哩路的「大一中文」,應具有何種面貌?它又該如何在業已分科分系的大學階段,立足於「通識」學科的基底,提供一種寬闊的人文領域視野?並與當代社會的脈動和環境接軌?本課程從這個問題出發,重新定義「文學」的當代意義,認為:在語文訓練業已於高中告一段落的大一階段,大學中文課程應引領同學,重新回到文學的本質,思索文學與個人、社會的相對意義。本課程將指出文學的本質恰代表了一種相對於資本主義生產邏輯價值彼端的「無用」的光譜;文學作品的內容,經常是從各種失敗、廢棄、不符合資本主義社會邏輯的無用之處發展起來。這其實是一個關於「廢棄」的領域,是人類精神世界的資源回收場,它所發展出來的相應技術或現實產品(實質的文學作品、美學標準、抽象的經典價值……等等),都來自人類精神廢墟的回收與再造。因此,在這個基礎上,語言教育的各種實用技術與審美判斷,都將和這個廢棄的起點有關。本課程企圖透過「廢」的路徑,以「廢」作為方法論,鍛鑄一堂「可能沒有用的」大一中文。課堂內容圍繞著「廢」的概念,重新詮釋「文學」的當代價值,正在種種廢墟、醜陋與斷裂之中,試圖撿拾碎片,進行創作。課程內容並對應當代大學生普遍的廢人狀態與厭世心態,透過對作為「廢物」的自己進行自我觀測,發展其「廢之力」,從中培養出書寫與閱讀的語文能力。In the current environment of higher education in Taiwan where practicality is paramount, what kind of appearance should "Freshman Chinese" be the last mile of language education? How can it provide a broad humanistic field vision based on the "common" science at the university stage where the disciplines have been divided into disciplines and departments? And connect with the movement and environment of contemporary society? This course develops from this question and redefines the contemporary meaning of "literature". It is believed that in the first stage of language training, the college Chinese course should lead students to return to the essence of literature and think about the relative meaning of literature and individuals and society. This course will point out that the essence of literature represents a "useless" light that is relative to the value of capitalism production logic; the content of literary works often develops from various useless aspects that fail, abandonment, and inconsistent with capitalism social logic. This is actually a field of "discarding", a resource recycling site for the human spiritual world. The corresponding technologies or actual products it develops (quality literary works, aesthetic standards, abstract classical values..., etc.) are all from the recycling and reconstruction of human spiritual ruins. Therefore, on this basis, the various practical techniques and the judgment of American review will be related to the starting point of this defeat. This course plans through the "waste" path, using "waste" as a method to discuss, and play a freshman Chinese with "maybe useless". The content of the class is surrounded by the concept of "waste", reinterpreting the contemporary value of "literature".
