本課程特別鼓勵大學部同學選修，目的在讓學生畢業前具有數學或數學應用的研究經驗。
欲修課的同學請先與兩位授課教師之一討論研究主題後再選課。This course specifically encourages students from the university department to choose and prepare for the purpose of giving students a research experience in mathematics or mathematical applications before graduating.
Students who want to take the course should first discuss the research topic with one of the two teachers before choosing the course.
