心理學是一門研究人類心智的科學，主要的範疇包括知覺、認知、情緒、行為以及文化等層面，範圍廣大。本課程提供學生對於人類心智活動的基本概念性知識，了解人類思考及行為的不同層面；進而增進自我認識，促進自我成長，提昇人文素養。本課程實際授課為１６周，另有兩周為期中考試及期末考試。課程內容涵蓋生理心理學、知覺心理學、認知行為科學、人格心理學、變態心理學、健康心理學以及文化心理學等範疇之基礎入門知識。

Psychology is a science that studies human mind. Its main scope includes knowledge, perception, emotion, behavior and culture, and its scope is wide. This course provides students with basic conceptual knowledge about human mental activities, understanding different levels of human thinking and behavior; thereby increasing self-awareness, promoting self-growth, and improving humanistic literacy. This course is actually taught for 16 weeks, with two more weeks for midterm exams and final exams. The course content covers the basic knowledge of physiological psychology, cognitive psychology, cognitive behavior science, personality psychology, change psychology, health psychology, and cultural psychology.

心理學是一門多元性的科學，心理學試圖探究人類行為與心理歷程變化的普遍原理原則。這門心理學課程涵蓋了心理學的歷史發展，人類的大腦及神經系統對人行為影響的介紹，人的知覺及意識狀態，人類行為學習的原理，記憶的廣度及遺忘歷程，語言、思考與問題解決，智力與能力介紹，人格理論的介紹，行為的動機，人類的情緒，異常行為的成因及類別，心理治療，人類對壓力反應與健康等等的內容使學生能對人類心理有基礎性的瞭解。
