本課程主要是古典小說之閱讀、詮釋與體驗。古典小說除其文學的涵意,實另有深刻之人生哲學的意義與價值。是故可從其閱讀體驗中,培養學生文字的理解能力,進而了解文學之美;亦可從其體驗生命之真與道德之善的生命目標!豐富學生的人文涵養!
其操作之法是藉由文本「探索其生命歷程」,「思考其生命困境」,「反觀自我生命之問題」三層面向作為切入。其目的在於突破古今之歷史時空,藉由古人之智慧,對治自我之問題;亦從作品之討論中,從中培養出對世情之洞察、人性缺陷之理解,進而達到反省「生命之本質」與「愛情之意義」之學習目標。
文本主要有三篇,分別是《唐傳奇》中的<霍小玉傳>,《三言二拍》中的<杜十娘怒沉百寶箱>、以及<賣油郎獨佔花魁>等。藉其情愛故事之分合,論其危機之所在,藉以反思與反省。
This course focuses on the reading, interpretation and experience of classical novels. In addition to their literary connotations, classical novels actually have profound philosophical significance and value in life. Therefore, from its reading experience, students can develop their ability to understand words and then understand the beauty of literature; they can also experience the life goal of the truth of life and the goodness of morality! Enrich students’ humanistic qualities!
The method of operation is to use the text as an entry point from three aspects: "exploring his life course", "thinking about his life dilemma", and "reflecting on the problems of his own life". Its purpose is to break through the historical time and space of ancient and modern times, and use the wisdom of the ancients to deal with self-problems; it also aims to cultivate insights into the world and understanding of human flaws from the discussion of the works, and then achieve reflection on the "essence of life" and Learning objectives of "The Meaning of Love".
There are three main texts, namely "The Biography of Huo Xiaoyu" in "Legends of the Tang Dynasty", "Du Shiniang Sinks the Treasure Chest in Fury" and "The Oil Seller Monopolizes the Oiran" in "Three Words and Two Pats". Through the separation and reunification of the love story, we discuss the crisis and reflect on it.

「中文」課程為全校大一新生共同必修課程之一,學分數2-2,共計4學分。以學院為單位,開設數門專題式文學課程,供學生依照個人興趣選課,以期能熟悉部分文學類型,達到文學欣賞、文化陶冶的目的。
教學目標:
一、分析問題與欣賞文藝,提升個人對文學藝術的知性和感性能力。
二、駕馭並應用語文、文學、文化的知識能力。
三、掌握語文表達能力。
四、具備思辨的內涵和能力。
教學內容:
透過古典或現代文學代表作品,呈現豐富、活潑的文學風格及面貌,使同學能深入探討中國文化、汲取心靈智慧、傳承文化資源,體會文學生活化、現代化及持續發展的生命力。教材擇取上,除配合教學目標外,亦根據各學院之不同特性而予以調整,另於課堂上輔以分組討論、報告、作品分享等學習方式,活化課程。並規定每學期的習作篇數,以收實際成效。
預期效果:
一、提升閱讀、欣賞及寫作之興趣與能力。
二、提升思辯、語文表達能力。
三、養成廣泛閱讀的習慣,增進涵泳文學、文化之能力。
四、開拓生活視野,培育文化素養,加強人文關懷。
Course positioning:
The "Chinese" course is one of the compulsory courses for all freshmen in the school. The number of credits is 2-2, totaling 4 credits. With the college as a unit, several thematic literature courses are offered for students to choose courses according to their personal interests, in order to become familiar with some literary types and achieve the purpose of literary appreciation and cultural cultivation.

Teaching content:
Through representative works of classical or modern literature, rich and lively literary styles and features are presented, allowing students to deeply explore Chinese culture, absorb spiritual wisdom, inherit cultural resources, and appreciate the vitality of literature in daily life, modernization and sustainable development. In addition to matching the teaching objectives, the selection of teaching materials is also adjusted according to the different characteristics of each school. In addition, group discussions, reports, work sharing and other learning methods are supplemented in the classroom to activate the courses. And stipulate the number of exercises per semester to achieve actual results.
