課程目標:本課程是個體經濟學的入門,我們將以循序漸進的介紹方式,將繁雜的理論與運算過程,以簡明的分析架構呈現,並輔以應用實例,讓學生在學習抽象的概念之餘,能適度的觀察與理解現實情境中常見的社會現象與商業行為。本課程對於經濟理論與基本觀念的介紹條理分明,前後的聯繫非常嚴謹,是初次進入個體經濟學領域者不可欠缺的課程。學生若能用心學習,必能有所斬獲,開展視野,進入經濟學有趣的世界。本課程基本的供給需求理論、市場結構等主題外,還加入行為經濟學更是近來經濟學研究的熱門領域。Course Objectives: This course is an introduction to individual economics. 經濟學旨在探討人們在有限的資源下如何做選擇?以及人們所選擇的活動,會造成什麼樣的結果?由於人們受到利己心的驅使,在資源(預算限制)及制度(法律規範)等限制條件下,會做理性選擇,以爭取最大私利,故個體經濟學亦可視為研究人類選擇行為的學問。長久以來,經由理論及實證研究的發展,經濟學已建構出一系列的模型,可用來解釋或預測經濟活動的結果。本課程旨在分析個別決策者(消費者、廠商)的選擇行為,及由此所導致的市場價格及資源配置狀況,以期對經濟活動(或行為)有更佳的瞭解。本課程屬於進階課程,著重在細膩分析,有較多模型或圖形的討論。課程內容包括:消費者選擇理論與應用、不確定狀況下之選擇、生產與成本、競爭性市場、不完全競爭市場、獨占力下的定價行為、基本賽局理論、要素市場理論、一般均衡理論、訊息不對稱及市場失靈等。
