This intermediate course aims to help students deepen their understanding of the economy at the micro level. Focus is firstly placed on the choice by consumers and and producers. Attention is then paid to various forms of markets. Basic concepts, underlying intuitions, and key analytic tools are presented to encourage students to act as an economist by logically explaining and predicting phenomena around and rationally solve both professional and personal problems.
