Introduction to Business Management
教育目標 Course Target
本課程為管理學之入門課程,著重於了解現代管理觀念、程序、與技術於各種具特定目標之組織當中。課程內容涵蓋規劃、組織、領導、與控制等四部分,教學內容則以課堂講授、小組活動(包括個案討論、專案報告)、與自我閱讀為學習架構,輔以高度互動之議題討論,使同學能掌握現代組織管理的精義,從而實踐管理的效能。
This is an introductory course to the theory and basic concepts of management. It serves as the first course in the discipline of management, and provides fundamental knowledge for advanced courses such as international business management, international business strategy, etc. In this introductory course, we will involve an overview approach to cover the various notions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling which are required for an understanding of management’s role in the contemporary organization. Besides, we will review the evolution of management thought, function and practice and stress current development in management studies.
This course is an introductory course in management, focusing on understanding the concepts, procedures, and technologies of modern management in various organizations with specific goals. The course content covers four parts: planning, organization, leadership, and control. The teaching content is based on classroom lectures, group activities (including case discussions, project reports), and self-reading. It discusses highly interactive topics, so that students can master the essence of modern organizational management and thus implement the effectiveness of management.
