課程簡介
社會學是什麼？根據《進擊的社會學家》作者：「社會學是最酷的學科。真的，還有哪個領域的學科更能讓你看出社會是如何運作或如何運用所學來改變社會？」
上學期課程以社會學概論為介紹內容，主題以文化、族群、種族為核心。下學期的課程將繼續以性別、環境與階級為主，並且我們也將探討其他社會學的核心主題，如國家、經濟與工作、科技與社會等非常有趣的主題。例如，性別研究是探討與每個人相關的性別認同，如何影響了人際關係互動，而瞭解父權社會運作很重要，因為父權文化使過去幾世紀以來的女性受苦。階級與勞動問題則與同學的未來工作現場有關，也是這幾年台灣社會的重要議題。在社會學研究中，包含了瞭解財團、國家、經濟發展、勞工處境等多面向的考察。
社會學的有趣之處在於與日常生活議題非常相關，非常廣泛，但是卻需要在眾多議題中，建立自己比較有興趣又專精的主題。
進入大一社會學與社會系，同學通常會有需要一定的時間適應期。本學期課程鼓勵同學繼續在小組之中討論、思辯，並且能花更多時間閱讀社會學文本。更重要的是，寫作memo與報告，才能真正的將閱讀的內容融會貫通。期許同學本學期繼續努力在知識與智識上繼續進步。

Course Introduction
What is social science? According to the author of The Advance Socialist: "Social Science is the coolest subject. Really, which field of science can better show you how society works or how it uses what you learn to change society?"
The course of the last year is based on social studies overviews, and the theme is centered on culture, ethnicity, and ethnicity. The next session will continue to focus on gender, environment and level, and we will also explore other core social topics such as country, economy and work, technology and society, and other very interesting topics. For example, gender research is to explore how gender identity related to each individual influences human relations interactions, and understanding the social movement of paternal rights is important because paternal rights culture has caused women from past centuries to suffer. Level and dynamic issues are related to the future work of classmates, and are also important issues in Taiwan society in recent years. In social research, it includes a variety of investigations such as understanding financial groups, countries, economic development, and labor situation.
The interesting thing about social science is that it is very related to daily life topics and is very broad, but it is necessary to establish yourself in a more interesting and specialized topic among the many topics.
When entering the social and social department of freshman year, students usually need a certain period of time. This course encourages students to continue discussing and thinking in the group, and spend more time reading social texts. More importantly, only by writing memos and reports can you truly integrate the content you read. During the undergraduate period, students will continue to strive to continue to improve their knowledge and intelligence.
