本課程的目的主要是在專業課程之外,培養學生的人文素養,以及對社會的關懷。歷史課程作為通識課程的內容,或不以專業歷史的角度教導學生如何作為一個史學家,而是要著重在如何透過對歷史與人文的瞭解,使學生得以讓其所學之專業知識得到最大的發揮。
就此而言,本課程講授之主旨,係著重於引導學生瞭解歷史變遷對時代之重要性,啟發學生對歷史的興趣,俾能主動學習歷史,吸取歷史經驗。同時,除了對歷史事件的瞭解之外,也著重在學生對歷史記載的解讀,希望學生能就由本課程之講授,瞭解自身文化的傳承,以及周遭社會特性的淵源。The purpose of this course is to cultivate students' humanistic literacy and concern for society in addition to the professional course. The history course is the content of the general course, or does not teach students how to be a historian from the perspective of professional history, but should focus on how to maximize the professional knowledge they have learned through their understanding of history and humanities.
In this regard, the main theme of this course is to guide students to understand the importance of history's transformation to the times, to stimulate students' interest in history, so that they can actively learn history and learn historical experience. At the same time, in addition to understanding historical events, we also focus on students' interpretation of historical records. We hope that students can understand the inheritance of their own culture and the pure source of the social characteristics around them through the lectures in this course.
