為促進學生瞭解十六、七世紀近代世界海洋大時代以後，臺灣歷史文化與社會經濟的形成與演變，進而認識臺灣史不同階段的重要內容並且掌握其特性，以便全面認知臺灣史如何的演進，而充分獲得正確的歷史觀念。

In order to promote students to understand the formation and evolution of Taiwan’s historical culture and social economy after the 16th and 7th century modern world oceanic times, and then understand the important content of Taiwan’s history and master its characteristics, so as to fully understand how Taiwan’s history evolves and fully gain correct historical concepts.
