以當前台灣的時空為基點,站在台灣主體性的立場上,來介紹台灣的歷史,反省台灣的過去理性地與過去對話,希望將歷史與現實結合,讓台灣的歷史能對我們的現實生活產生啟發與教育的作用,進而培養宏遠的世界觀。
