The goal of the seminar course is to explore related research subjects on the field ofrestaurant and hotel management, such as Hospitality Marketing, Human Resource Management, Food Safety and Sanitation, Consumer Behavior Analysis etc. Under the advise of professor from the department, students will conduct their research in groups with different trendy topics closely related to hospitality industry.
In oredr to accomplish the requirement of this seminar course , students need to submit a research proposal with the first three chapters of their study including introduction, literature review and methodology. After receiving approval of the proposal, students then can proceed to the section of conducting their research by data collection and analysis in the following semester. Cultivate students in reading, data analysis, experimental design, and problem discussion. It trains students to have the ability to summarize problems, pursue and explore knowledge, cultivate students' expression ability through oral reports, and then train students to have the ability to engage in research on life science-related issues.
