【歌詞與生活:用英語表達自己】 本課程旨在透過當代英語流行歌曲,幫助學生培養英文聽說能力與自我表達技巧。課程透過歌詞,呈現真實且貼近生活的主題,提供一種有創意且具互動性的學習方式,引導學生更有自信的用英文表達自己的想法、感受與經驗。每週學生將學習歌詞中 CEFR B1-B2 級的詞彙與口語用法,並應用於對話、個人反思與其各類說練習中。 【From Lyrics to Life: Expressing Yourself in English】 This course is designed to help students develop listening, speaking, and self-expression skills in English through popular contemporary songs. By incorporating authentic, real-life topics through song lyrics, the course provides a creative and engaging way for students to express their ideas, feelings, and experiences more confidently in English. Each week, students learn vocabulary at the CEFR B1–B2 levels and colloquial expressions found in song lyrics, and use them as a foundation for short dialogues, personal reflections, and speaking practice. 【Lyrics and Life: Expressing Yourself in English】 This course aims to help students develop English listening skills and self-expression skills through contemporary English pop songs. Through lyrics, the course presents a real and close theme of life, providing a creative and interactive learning method, guiding students to express their thoughts, feelings and experience in English with greater confidence. Every week students will learn the CEFR B1-B2 lyrics and oral usage in lyrics and apply them to dialogue, personal reflection and various types of speech practice. 【From Lyrics to Life: Expressing Yourself in English】 This course is designed to help students develop listening, speaking, and self-expression skills in English through popular contemporary songs. 課程概述 Course Description

「大二英文」是一個以學習者為中心的模組化課程。針對學生個人學習興趣及相關系所之專業需求,開設四大模組課程,分別為「職涯與專業」、「日常溝通」、「多元文化」以及「自我表達技巧」。四大模組分別由具有共同核心目標但涵蓋不同主題之課程所建構而成。所有的課程均以學期為單位,學生根據個別興趣及需求,必須於兩學期選擇兩門不同的模組課程。本課程結合討論、展演及實作等各類學習活動,讓學生能在更多元、自主的學習語境中,具體強化其英語文溝通能力。 本課程屬於「自我表達技巧」模組,透過多元題材與多媒體資源提升教學成效,協助學生增進英語聆聽與口說能力,具體提升學生的表達能力與自信,並精進其英語簡報及演說技巧。 The SENM program is a student-centered module-based program which offers students choices and interactive classes. The program encourages students to tailor their English learning to their specific needs and interests by offering four semester-based modules: Career and Profession, Daily Communication, Multiculturalism, and Self-Expression Skills. Additionally, within each of the four modules, there are different themes, or topics, around which each course‘s curriculum is built. Each SENM student must choose two different module courses in two semesters according to their interests and needs. A variety of class activities such as discussions, role plays, and presentations is incorporated into the program to provide a more effective and productive learning environment for the students. This specific course belongs to the Self-Expression Skills Module. This module enhances students’ oral presentation techniques. It also helps students to improve their listening skills and boost their confidence in public speaking. Course Objectives: On completion of the course, students should be able to 1) deliver a variety of formal and informal presentations in English; 2) present ideas clearly with emphasis on effective use of verbal and nonverbal communication skills; 3) demonstrate critical thinking skills in daily life communication, both as a speaker and as a listener; and 4) express their ideas in English more confidently.
"Soul English" is a modular course centered on learners. In response to students' personal learning interests and professional needs, four major module courses are established, namely "career and professional", "daily communication", "multi-cultural" and "self-expression skills". The four major modules are constructed from courses with common core goals but covering different topics. All courses are based on the school period. Students must choose two different module courses during the two school periods according to their respective interests and needs. This course combines various learning activities such as discussion, performance and work to enable students to specifically enhance their English-language communication skills in more diverse and independent learning environments. This course belongs to the "Self-Expression Techniques" module. It improves teaching effectiveness through diverse topics and multimedia resources, helps students improve their English listening and speaking skills, specifically improve their English simplification and speech skills, and improve their English simplification and speech skills.
