1、本課程以普通法(Common Law)及美國法之法學英文與案件閱讀暨摘要研析為介紹主體，如基本人權、人性尊嚴、侵權法、契約法等。並了解美國法制之特色及其與大陸法制發展之相互影響。
2、希望透過相關法律與案件及補充教材之學習，美國法相關案件之導讀，引發學習興趣與建立學習的方法。進一步認識相關英美法之基本概念，培養案件閱讀與摘要能力。特別就相關議題，如安樂死等，啟發及反思如何制定與執行法律，以符社會之良善與公平。

This course introduces the subjects based on common law and the study of law in English and case summary and analysis of American law, such as basic human rights, respect for human nature, infringement law, contract law, etc. And understand the characteristics of the US legal system and its mutual influence with the development of the mainland legal system.
2. I hope to learn interest and establish learning through the learning of relevant laws and cases and supplementary textbooks, and the guidance of American law-related cases. Further understand the basic concepts related to Britain, the United States and law, and cultivate the ability to read and summarize cases.
