教育目標 Course Target

[關於建築的實習,#學子和產業 #教育與勞力 #價值與價格]

建築設計作為未來人居環境整體之創造性工作、以及面對人工智慧自動化人力減少之趨勢下:人才的需求是更細膩分工的精品化、而不是工業1.0的大量製造以量制價 (還會影響同學未來自我追求和職場薪資被稀釋的關鍵痛點)。
而「實習課程」應為了培養學校與未來建築師執業之間的橋樑,在產業方逐漸面對公司規模極端大化與更小型化的未來趨勢的銜接下,這個建築設計產業主體其實更是以小型、而非大型企業的僱傭關係為主、甚至大型公司會因為新的特定專業spin-off新的小公司。

是「實習」而非「工讀」,也不是醫學院所醫院和學校、技職體系的工廠與學校之於學校的關係。若,學校讓同學誤以為「實習」是學校的延伸、是一種課程,那試問:學校要給付「實習」中授與同學的事務所同仁、空出工作時間的鐘點費嗎?還是因為這個「施」「受」關係誤會的舉措,把「教育」簡化成「勞力」來看待了呢。

如果我們健康而且正向的來推動彼此的關係,是積極的讓同學在學校的生涯裡提前接觸產業、做未來的各種建築設計面向整合、與培養具有責任、提出洞見、專注深入決策、與統領能力(不同合約階段的設計、建築工程方面、都市/多樣性人才與跨領域的合作、政策與行政事務)提前準備、因而產生產業和學校更大的eco-system(而不只是短期性和殺紅了眼的投資方割地換錢),來回應「建築設計作為未來人居環境整體之創造性工作」。

而不應該把學校和事務所的關係,只是為了直接投入職場的職訓所,大學也不該淪為只是職訓所。如果更是為了財務著想,那更應該端正這一體適用的舉措與誤會、會降低校友/系友們凝聚願意各種直接財務外,還有直接財務以外/資源/人才庫培育與回學校再培育的往來等……外溢衍生財務的討論。如果硬要這樣斷了,那長期健康而且永續的滾動與投入…也就斷了。也許是在少子化浪潮裡的精品化是能提供另一個思考的方向。

[Internships about architecture, #Students and Industry #Education and Labor #Value and Price]

Architectural design is a creative work for the future living environment as a whole, and in the face of the trend of reduced manpower through artificial intelligence and automation: the demand for talents is more refined division of labor, rather than mass manufacturing based on quantity and price in Industry 1.0 (which will also affect the key pain points of students' future self-pursuance and dilution of workplace salaries).
The "internship course" should be to cultivate a bridge between schools and future architects' practice. As the industry gradually faces the future trend of extremely large and smaller companies, the main body of this architectural design industry is actually based on the employment relationship of small rather than large companies. Even large companies will spin-off new small companies because of new specific majors.

It is "internship" rather than "work-study", nor is it the relationship between medical schools, hospitals and schools, or factories and schools in the technical and vocational system. If the school makes students mistakenly believe that "internship" is an extension of the school and a kind of course, then let's ask: Does the school have to pay the office colleagues who are awarded the "internship" to the students for their free working time? Or is it because of this misunderstanding of the relationship between "giving" and "receiving" that "education" is reduced to "labor".

If we promote each other's relationship in a healthy and positive way, we can actively let students contact the industry in advance during their school career, integrate various architectural design aspects in the future, and cultivate responsible, insightful, focused and in-depth decision-making, and leadership capabilities (design at different contract stages, construction engineering, etc.) Urban/diversified talents and cross-disciplinary cooperation, policy and administrative affairs) are prepared in advance, thus creating a larger eco-system of industry and schools (rather than just short-term and red-eyed investors ceding land for money) to respond to "architectural design as a creative work for the future living environment as a whole."

The relationship between schools and offices should not be regarded as just a vocational training center for direct entry into the workplace, and universities should not be reduced to just vocational training centers. If it is more for the sake of finance, then we should correct the measures and misunderstandings that are applicable to all, which will reduce the willingness of alumni/department friends to gather and discuss various direct financial matters, as well as direct financial/resource/talent pool cultivation and return to school for further cultivation, etc... discussions on spillover derivative finance. If we insist on discontinuing it like this, then the long-term healthy and sustainable rolling and investment... will also be discontinued. Perhaps quality products in the wave of declining birthrates can provide another direction for thinking.
