透過本課程研習，使同學對公司法制之運作、規範；對票據效力、特性；對保險契約、制度有基本之認識，降低同學未來在從事國際貿易與公司商業行為時，因對法律制度之不了解而受損害之風險。Through the study of this course, students will have a basic understanding of the operation and standardization of corporate legal systems; the validity and characteristics of bills; and insurance contracts and systems, which will reduce students' lack of understanding of the legal system when they engage in international trade and corporate business activities in the future. 商事法主要包括公司法、票據法、保險法以及海商法。日常生活中很多事務，都會適用到這些法規。藉由本課程啟發並鼓勵學生對商事法產生興趣。
