方法論乃是政治學研究的重要基礎，其中至少包含科學哲學、研究途徑以及研究方法、研究設計等部分。本課程將從社會科學哲學的角度出發，介紹政治學中有關本體論及認識論等問題；其次，經由社會科學的發展脈絡，教師也將分述政治學當中重要研究途徑的內涵及其相關檢討；再者，就政治學研究方法的重要元素和材料而言，本課程亦將以政治學中的科學概念為基礎，分次介紹幾項重要的研究方法。Methodology is an important foundation of political research, which includes at least scientific philosophy, research approaches, research methods, research design and other parts. This course will be developed from the perspective of social science philosophy and introduce issues such as the intrinsic and cognitive discussions in politics; secondly, from the development of social science, teachers will also describe the connotation and related reviews of important research paths in politics; Furthermore, in terms of important elements and materials of political research methods, this course will also be based on the scientific concepts in politics and introduce several important research methods in batches.
針對政治現象從問題的提出到問題的解答作有系統的介紹。以科學的方法，從概念的形成、假設的提出、通則的建立、模式的形成到理論的建構依序說明。並透過研究法的介紹使學生能瞭解、批判、並運用各種研究法來對特定的問題提出解決的方法。
A systematic introduction to political phenomena from the question to the answers to the question. With a scientific method, we will explain in sequence from the formation of concepts, the proposition of hypothesis, the establishment of general rules, the formation of patterns to the construction of theory. And through the introduction of research methods, students can understand, criticize, and use various research methods to propose solutions to specific problems.
