政治學方法論是政治學系重要的必修課，其內容涉及政治學研究途徑、研究設計等；因此，本課程不但是研讀政治學理論之基礎，同時，對於有志從事政治學研究、教學以及論文寫作的學生更具重要性。基此，本課程除了課程內容教授外，有必要透過實作的規劃，利用外加時段由教師指導同學研究方法之應用。
除了原課程時段，教師將利用外加的兩小時實作課程，首先，安排同學深入討論課程內容，即時針對課程問題給予回應；其次，則是交代論文寫作的作業，使學生能實際應用研究方法，並由教師在課堂給予指導；另外，本實作課程也將邀請專家學者前來演講，激發同學對研究方法的興趣。

Political methodology is an important compulsory course in the political science department, and its content involves political research methods, research design, etc.; therefore, this course is not only the basis for studying political theory, but also is more important for students who are interested in political research, teaching and writing. Based on this, in addition to teaching the course content, it is necessary to use the external time period to guide the application of students' research methods through practical planning.
In addition to the original course period, the teacher will use the additional two-hour course to implement the course. First, he will arrange for students to discuss the course content in depth and respond to the course problems immediately; second, it will explain the writing of the article so that students can actually apply research methods, and the teacher will give guidance in the classroom; in addition, this work course will also invite expert students to come and speak to stimulate students' interest in research methods.
