本課程教學目的乃對於開放經濟體系，提供總體經濟理論的進階分析及模型延伸，尤其在總體經濟政策的效果分析及涵義上。並對整體世界經濟體系，互相依存的國際金融制度沿革及發展，外匯市場、國際收支的調節理論均為主題。主要內容包括：國際收支帳的介紹，各種匯率體制的發展及優劣比較，國際金融體制現況與變革，開放型總體經濟模型的建立、運作與架構，總體經濟政策效果分析，國際經濟景氣的傳輸與互動的探討，國際收支與匯率動態調節過程的理論。
The teaching purpose of this course is to provide advanced analysis and model extension of overall economic theory for open economic systems, especially the effect analysis and implications of overall economic policies. The overall world economic system, the evolution and development of the interdependent international financial system, the foreign exchange market, and the adjustment theory of the balance of payments are all topics. The main contents include: introduction to the balance of payments, the development and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of various exchange rate systems, the current situation and changes of the international financial system, the establishment, operation and structure of the open overall economic model, analysis of the effects of overall economic policies, and the transmission of international economic prosperity. and interactive discussion, the theory of dynamic adjustment process of international balance of payments and exchange rate.
