本課程希望以工程觀點介紹基礎生物學,使化工系學生了解生物學與化學工程結合應用的基本概念,學習進入生物技術領域基本知識,介紹如何藉由工程與生物結合,擴展化學工程在醫藥、食品、環保、農牧業等的應用。在生物技術課程中,提供了應用於生物技術的各項基礎科學,其中包括: 基礎生物學、分子生物學、生化工程學、微生物應用和基因重組等各個領域的涵蓋廣泛之各項主題。嘗試平衡基本生物學,和實務應用性、歷史範例,以及生物技術之最新應用性等各部份之涵蓋篇幅,以提供學生瞭解生物技術和相關工業所需要的工具和基礎知識。This course hopes to introduce basic biology with engineering perspectives, so that chemical engineering students can understand the basic concepts of the combination of biology and chemical engineering, learn basic knowledge into the field of biotechnology, and introduce how to expand chemical engineering in medicine through the combination of engineering and biology. Applications of food, environmental protection, agriculture and animal husbandry, etc. In the biotechnology course, various basic sciences applied to biotechnology are provided, including: basic biology, molecular biology, biochemical engineering, microbial application and gene reorganization, covering a wide range of topics. Try to balance basic biology, practical application, historical examples, and latest application of biotechnology, to provide students with tools and basic knowledge needed to understand biological technology and related industries.
