使學生了解邏輯之基本概念，並熟習演繹論證之推論規則與演算。

Enable students to understand the basic concepts of logic and be familiar with the recommendation rules and calculations of the proof of interpretation.

邏輯（理則學）理性思維有表裏的、及互相促進的關係。成熟的理性思維有高度的邏輯性；良好的邏輯訓練使理性思維更成熟。理性思維是處理人類事務最可靠的思考方式，舉凡日常生活中的問題、科學研究、法律實務、民主政治等，無一不需理性地去處理，是以，邏輯應是現代知識份子的基本訓練。亞里士多德邏輯更是哲學的一個組成部份，對哲學主修生言，它跟形上學、倫理學一樣，不可或缺。本課以亞氏邏輯及符號邏輯入門為核心，輔之以批判的、科學的思維方法及歸納法，使本系學生不僅有基本心智能力去研讀西方哲學經典，更有科學思考及推理能力去處理生活上及學術上的問題。

Routine (reasoning) Rational thinking has manifest and mutually promoting relationships. Mature rational thinking is highly logical; good logical training makes rational thinking more mature. Rational thinking is the most reliable way to think about human affairs. Any problems in daily life, scientific research, legal practice, democratic politics, etc. need not be handled rationally. Therefore, logic should be the basic training of modern intellectuals. Aristotle logic is a part of philosophy. It is the same as metaphysics and ethics. This course is centered on the Aristotle logic and symbolic logic, and uses critical and scientific thinking methods and learning methods, so that students in this department not only have the basic mental ability to study Western philosophical classics, but also have the ability to think and reason to deal with life and academic problems.
