台灣學子們以往在國高中所學習的歷史課程,總是較為嚴肅、刻板、求背誦而不求理解的,因而使許多同學對歷史這門學科望之卻步,甚至排斥生厭。本課程希望透過課堂的講述與各類教材的補助,讓同學看見歷史的趣味、生動與活波,並能理解歷史現象背後的意義與其與現今人類社會的關係。本課程主要分為兩個階段,第一階段是概述中國歷史的發展,用21世紀的觀點重新使同學理解歷史的軌跡,並讓同學對重大的歷史邊遷有較為深入的理解。第二階段則為主題的講述,冀使非歷史系的同學能對當今熱門的歷史議題,如民族主義、辛亥百年、傳統國家運作、海峽兩岸的分立等,有更進一步的了解。The history courses that Taiwanese students studied in junior high schools in the past were always serious, rigid, and required memorization rather than understanding. As a result, many students were discouraged from the subject of history, or even rejected it. This course hopes that through classroom narration and various teaching materials, students can see the interest, vividness and vitality of history, and understand the meaning behind historical phenomena and its relationship with today's human society. This course is mainly divided into two stages. The first stage is an overview of the development of Chinese history, using a 21st century perspective to re-understand the trajectory of history, and allowing students to have a deeper understanding of major historical migrations. The second stage is about the theme, hoping that students who are not in the history department can have a better understanding of today's hot historical issues, such as nationalism, the centenary of 1911, the operation of traditional countries, the separation of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, etc.
