教育目標 Course Target
歡迎來到社會工作研究方法。這門課不只是「讀方法」,而是用一整個學年,和同學一起「做出一份真正的研究」。上學期我們的目標,是完成一份紮實、可執行的「研究計劃書」;下學期再把它實際做出來。
研究方法是社會工作「實證為本實務(evidence-based practice)」的基礎——唯有懂得如何提問、蒐集與分析資料,社工才能真正了解服務對象的需求、檢驗方案是否有效,並為弱勢群體發聲。本學期以小組方式進行,從找到一個值得研究的問題出發,逐步走過文獻、研究倫理、研究設計、抽樣、測量與問卷設計,最後寫出並上台發表你們的研究計劃書。
特別提醒:本學期週四共 16 週,其中 10/29(全校運動大會)與 12/24(聖誕節下午停課)兩個週四停課;期中考於 11/5(期中考試週)舉行、本課程無期末考,12/31 學期考試週作為研究計劃書發表。每週進度可能依教學狀況微調,請以課堂與教學平台公告為準。

Welcome to social work research methods. This course is not just about "reading methods," but a whole school year spent "doing a real research" with classmates. Our goal last semester was to complete a solid and executable "research plan"; we will actually implement it next semester.
Research methods are the foundation of social work’s “evidence-based practice”—only by knowing how to ask questions, collect and analyze data can social workers truly understand the needs of service recipients, test whether plans are effective, and speak for vulnerable groups. This semester is conducted in groups. You start from finding a problem worth researching, and then gradually go through literature, research ethics, research design, sampling, measurement and questionnaire design, and finally write and publish your research plan on stage.
Special reminder: There are 16 weeks in total on Thursdays in this semester, of which classes will be closed on two Thursdays: 10/29 (school sports meeting) and 12/24 (classes are closed on Christmas afternoon); the midterm exam will be held on 11/5 (midterm exam week), there is no final exam for this course, and the 12/31 semester exam week will be published as a research proposal. The weekly progress may be fine-tuned according to the teaching situation, please refer to the classroom and teaching platform announcements.

課程概述 Course Description
「社會工作研究法」這門課旨在協助同學將社會科學研究方法運用到社會工作領域中,協助同學具備進行社會工研究所需的知識,培養同學具備獨立思考與判斷,以及分析與探究事實能力。這門課是大三必修課,首重講解與討論,讓同學們瞭解社會工作研究方法的重要概念、方法與步驟,以及其在社會工作實務上與日常生活上的應用。課程內容包括:社會工作研究基本概念與專有名詞的介紹;各類型研究方法的介紹,包括其發展歷史、基本理念、研究過程與步驟等;如何形成研究問題;如何尋找與整理文獻資料;如何選取研究對象;如何進行資料蒐集;如何進行資料分析;如何進行研究的寫作等。配合上述上課單元的進度,同學必須實際操作一份研究計畫並進行討論,從實際演練中了解從事社會工作研究的步驟與過程,以及其中可能遭遇的問題與困難。期待透過這門課的學習,讓同學能夠具備社會工作核心才能之一 : 有能力針對社會工作領域的相關現象與議題進行探索、描述與解釋。
The course "Social Work Research Methods" aims to help students apply social science research methods to the field of social work, to help students acquire the knowledge necessary to conduct social work research, and to cultivate students' independent thinking and judgment, as well as the ability to analyze and explore facts. This course is a required course for junior students. It focuses on explanation and discussion to allow students to understand the important concepts, methods and steps of social work research methods, as well as their application in social work practice and daily life. Course content includes: introduction to basic concepts and proper nouns of social work research; introduction to various types of research methods, including their development history, basic concepts, research processes and steps, etc.; how to formulate research questions; how to find and organize literature; how to select research objects; how to collect data; how to conduct data analysis; how to write research, etc. In accordance with the progress of the above-mentioned class units, students must actually operate a research project and discuss it. Through the actual exercise, they can understand the steps and processes of social work research, as well as the problems and difficulties they may encounter. We hope that through the study of this course, students will be able to acquire one of the core competencies of social work: the ability to explore, describe and explain relevant phenomena and issues in the field of social work.
