進階設計試圖建立碩士生對於創新產品設計開發的完整觀念與方法，並透過真實物件設計加以實際演練。課程探討人與產品的互動方式，產品與環境的對應，材質的創新以及體驗為出發點，藉由課題操作演練。以此協助學生熟悉設計流程，了解材料特性、機構與產品樣式等關係。

Advanced design tests create complete concepts and methods for juvenile students in the development of innovative product design, and practice them through real object design. The course explores the interaction between people and products, the adaptation of products and environment, the innovation of materials and experience as the development point, and practices through the course topic operation. This helps students become familiar with the design process and understand the relationship between material characteristics, mechanism and product style.

本課程旨在於培養學生應有的設計知識與技術，以從事相關產品設計與開發，課程經由老師的指導與討論以及同學間的切磋觀摩以培養設計的本質學能，學生將依照所設定的設計主題學習自我發掘和界定問題的能力以及自我規劃與掌握設計流程的能力，並在不同的設計階段中，產生多種構想以發展為解決問題的最佳設計方案，最後透過模型與多媒體的發表與展示，來呈現學生對本課程的學習成效，進而提升學生的產品設計能力，此為本課程最主要的目的。

This course aims to cultivate the design knowledge and technology that students should have, and use relevant product design and development.
